Why just read about history…

when you can live it!

At Pioneer Living History Village you will step back in time to the Arizona Territorial period – 1863 to 1912

See and feel how the early pioneers lived and worked in the harsh, unforgiving environment of this diverse land. When you take the self-guided, walking-tour through the Village, you discover a world devoid of paved streets, electricity, or running water that our ancestors once inhabited.

Our “Classroom without walls” provides an enriching educational encounter by showing you the dwellings, tools, and everyday implements used by Arizona’s early residents to tame a frontier. Educators and students alike will find our Village an invaluable learning experience that will make them want to return again and again.

We also offer the ability for Boys and Girls Scouts to do their service projects in our park museum!
