Pioneer Village Volunteer Events

Without you, our volunteers, the Village would not be the wonderful place it's grown to be over the years. Because of your efforts, many donated hours and willingness to jump in, you've made the Pioneer Living History Museum a key tourist attraction in Arizona and a living, breathing classroom for our school children. We appreciate everything you have done and continue to do to preserve our Arizona history. Thank you.

Volunteer Schedule

September 4th. Haunted History Organizational Meeting we will begin at 4PM (Church location). The volunteer's roles will be defined. 1) He will delegate buildings to the stories and story tellers. Rehearsal times will be scheduled, vocal only & dress/vocal dates/times. 2) Ghoul guides can show off their appropriate costume ideas and make-up requirements described. We're looking for a grayish cast to the face color, Spooky NOT Horrifying! 3) Subtle decorations & decorating will be mapped out along Lockett Ave., the gazebo area and the selected buildings. Please bring your glass jars for the candles! 4) Event schedule (Arrival at 6:30PM for ticket holders, all stories begin in buildings at 7PM promptly...when the bell tolls....) and ticket sales will be discussed so volunteers can accurately answer any questions. All tickets are pre-sold by credit card or WILL CALL.

• Sept. 18, Saturday, 10AM:  Volunteer Orientation and Gun Safety Course.  
  MANDATORY ATTENDANCE FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON by all volunteers / Board Members.
• Sept. 19, Sunday, 1PM:  Volunteer Oreintation and Gun Safety (repeat). 
• Oct. 1, Friday, 10AM:  Volunteer Orientation and Gun Safety Course (repeat).
• Oct. 2, Saturday, 10AM:  Volunteer Orientation and Gun Safety Course (final class of season).
• Volunteer Christmas Party:  Date/Time/Location TBD.
